The foot plays an important role in supporting the weight of the entire body as well as locomotion. The engineering of our lasts and footwear construction take into account all the anatomical aspects of the foot, making it a true investment in your feet. Zamberlan® engineered different lasts based on the anatomical features of the foot and the requirements for various end-use applications.
Generally, Zamberlan boots are all comfortable, not too long and have a good volume.
Boot Lasts & Size Charts
To find your Zamberlan size, measure the distance from the back of your heel to the tip of your longest toe while wearing socks.
- Place a sheet of paper on the floor and trace your foot with your heel against a wall.
- Measure the outline from the back of your heel to the front of your toes.
- Find this measurement in the chart below for the last of your model. If between two sizes, choose the larger.
- Repeat for both feet and use the size that fits your bigger foot.

Solid boot and well made! Width is kind of an issue. I don’t have really wide feet and they are pretty skinny width wise. Boot doesn’t feel stable.

Very happy with the fit and comfort of these boots. The leather upper is of superior quality. I am concerned about the longevity of the sole. My last pair broke down after 4 years so I will have to wait and see. I’m hoping they made improvements with this rubber. My feet love the boots!

After only having worn them two days, they already feel quite comfortable and solid: seem very well made. So far, I am delighted.

A good boot, did not take along time to break in and become comfortable. Waterproof, and kept my feet dry and warm in snow and water. I usually wear a size 8.5, however these are a size 8 and fit fine. I do recommend them.

I'm happy with the boots and I've used this make of boots for several years, at 71 I'm pretty sure I know my size but these boots seem just a little big like maybe half a size. Otherwise good stuff

The Zamberlan 309s are a fantastic hiking boot for those looking to buy their first pair. The materials on these feel high quality and the construction is very sturdy. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were made in Italy! The boots are extremely comfortable from the box and I had zero issues breaking them in. I wore them for 9 days straight on a Nova Scotia trip and put around 30 kms of walking/hiking/light running into these boots and they're still in great shape. I don't see myself getting rid of these any time soon!

I already own a pair of "1025 Tofane NW GTX RR " - "Vibram Nortrack Hydrobloc Waxed Brick ??", your top of the line boots.
FYI: they are size US 10 1/2, Euro 45 and fit me very comfortably.
For this new pair "309 New Trail Lite GTX", given the narrow-width comments on internet, I went up in size to US 11, Euro 45 1/2. After 2 days of use, I can say that these boots are as comfortable and width is not an issue.

These have exceeded my expectations. I’m a tough sell in the footwear department. The way the heal is formed on these adds comfort I’ve never experienced before. I will certainly by buying more of this brands products!!
